Meet Your Consultant Surgeon
Mr Bochmann was invited to return to Norfolk to take up an NHS consultant post in 2025, bringing with him a bredth of experience and techniques from elsewhere in the UK.
He has a particular interest in WALANT surgery (the avoidance of tourniquets in local anaesthetic procedures), arthroscopic (key-hole) techniques, denervation procedures (pain relief without structural/joint damage), and joint replacements of the fingers, thumb and wrist.
Mr Bochmann performed Norwich's first Motec wrist replacement surgery, and is taking tertiary referrals for this procedure.
He practices with a treatment philosophy focused on education and patient choice; typically advocating for the least invasive/lowest risk option to deal with a given problem.
